The home is a stylish and fully air-conditioned 4 bedroom Koh Samui holiday beachfront villa set within the secure gated Dhevatara Residence compound, located on the western end of Bophut beach, within easy reach of a restaurants, bars, and spas to enjoy your vacation. Entered through double wooden gates that lead to a private courtyard, the villa is designed in several detached shingle-roofed pavilions for enhanced privacy.

A central pathway leads through the property to the beachfront swimming pool and main living area. The blue-tiled swimming pool is surrounded by grass lawn, and a sun-deck furnished with modern loungers. At the far end of the swimming pool is a shady sala pavilion, from where stairs lead down to the private gated entrance to the beach. The air-conditioned living pavilion features foldaway glass walls for a seamless indoor-outdoor living effect, and opens directly onto the pool deck and sea views.

A comfortable lounge area includes sofas and a coffee table facing a large wall-mounted LCD TV with DVD and satellite service. Behind the living room is a dining room with glass walls and sea views across the lounge area. A water-feature with stepping stones leads to the modern, fully equipped kitchen in the next pavilion to the rear. A second outdoor Thai-style kitchen is located off the fitted kitchen, and is ideal for BBQs and wok-fried Oriental dishes.

The villa's 4 en-suite air-conditioned bedrooms are comfortable and private, each with a dressing area and TV/DVD. There are 3 double bedrooms and 1 twin bedroom, sleeping up to 8 guests. The en-suite bathrooms all include large walk-in showers, while the master bedroom suite features an additional tub set in a wooden platform. Complimentary WiFi internet service is provided throughout the property, which also has a back-up generator.

We absolutely loved our 3 day stay at Baan Ban Buri. The bungalows, swimming pool and family pavilions were superb with plenty of space to spread out. Our host Khun Ae, chef Khun Kwan and team were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Being able to share the complex with friends and have our own private chef to prepare delicious meals to order (including a spectacular bbq seafood lunch one day) was a dream.

If you are looking for a perfect 4 bedroom beach front villa to stay in Koh Sumai , Baan Ban Buri is the place , located in good locality , right on beach with excellent facilities , very neat & clean , Staff of 4 (1) Villa Manager-Heidi (2) Chef-Joom (3) Gardener – Sri & House Keeping – Poo , they are masters in their jobs.

This is the third time that I have booked a villa for holiday and I can say my experience with Baan Ban Buri has set the standards. I have traveled with my family and our friends from HK. In total we were with six adults and three toddlers and one baby.

The villa is in very good condition and the rooms are spacious. For us it was also very important that it was child friendly. We have a private pool which was big enough for all of us to relax. The pool was overlooking the sea and we had direct access to the beach. The beach was a bit dirty, but that has not spoiled our holiday.

The service in the villa was excellent. The villa manager is very experienced and friendly. The in-house chef is superb. She cooks better Thai food than any Thai restaurant in Singapore. We were stuffing ourselves for lunch and dinner.

I would highly recommend Ban Baan Buri. It's perfect for family with kids and even for group of friends without kids, it would be a good choice since the location is very central.

During a very dissapointing stay at another villa in Samui we went online and came upon the Dhevatara Residences. The Baan Ban Buri seemed nice and was available for the rest of our holiday so we booked the villa. The booking agent was very efficient and all details were quickly settled.

Upon arrival we were greeted by the villa staff who were very nice and helpful. Our villa managar was Nat and she with the help of her team really made us feel at home from minute one.

The rooms (pavillions) are spacious and nicely decorated. All the ameneties are up to par. The TV's in the rooms are only good for watching DVD's, there is no TV reception in the rooms. The large flat screen in the lounge does show large number of satellite channels, though. Lack of TV in the bedrooms did not bother us all that much since the view from the pool had us almost glued to the loungers from dawn 'till dusk. Salt water pool proved most refreshing.

Our cook was very good and mastered local dishes with ease. Upon request he cooked European and other Asian dishes also, and after a couple of days we just let him decide the daily menu. We vere not dissapointed! Breakfast was very delicious with eggs cooked to order, pancakes, cerials etc.

One highlight of the day was trying to guess what pillow decoration our maid left on our beds. She was a master of crafting the decorations from coconut leafs. Also feeding the fish in the pond was kids favourite task of the day.

The beach is nice but a bit on the rocky side, there are better beaches in Samui. There are small fishing boats anchored near the beach. You can walk along the Bophut beach to other resorts, good restaurants and spas (or enjoy beach massage for 400 baht/hr). A kayak is provided for a little sight seeing.

Dhevatara Recidences provide quiet and luxurious retreat for a reasonable price. We will return.

Cancellation and Amendments to Reservation

If it becomes necessary to cancel the whole or any part of the booking by the Guests, IPSL must be notified in writing in advance (email is acceptable). The cancellation will take effect from the date of the written confirmation is received by IPSL.

The following cancellation charges will be applied depending on when the notification of the cancellation is received in writing by IPSL and the period of stay in the Villa by the Guests:

20% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made 60 days or more before the arrival date.
50% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made between 30 and 60 days before the arrival date.
100% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made 30 days or less before the arrival date.
A full or partial refund is subject to the discretion of IPSL and solely applicable in the event that IPSL secures another reservation covering partially or fully the initial cancelled reservation.

Christmas and New Year Periods:

For any cancellation after the deposit and/or balance payment, all payments are forfeited and a full or partial refund is solely applicable in the event that IPSL secures another reservation covering partially or fully the initial and cancelled reservation

Relaxed Cancellation Policy during COVID-19 Period

We understand that flexibility is required given the impact Coronavirus has on travel. In the event where your trip is disrupted due to COVID-19-related flight cancellations or travel restrictions, the below terms and conditions apply:

In the event your trip is disrupted, we will supply you with the necessary paperwork to file a claim with your travel insurance. If you are not covered by travel insurance, please refer to the policies on our managed villas below.

Cancellations made more than thirty (30) days before the date of arrival are eligible for a credit note for up to twelve (12) months from your original arrival date OR a cash refund of eighty percent (80%).
Cancellations made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date will be converted into a credit note for up to twelve (12) months from your original arrival date – no cash refund.
For peak season bookings: If you cancel anytime due to a COVID-related event, you will be provided with twelve (12) months credit from the original arrival date – no cash refund.

We will refund your booking or provide a credit note based on the following conditions:

Your country of residence issues a travel ban or a warning of ‘Do not travel’ (or the equivalent) to the destination booked.
Your flight is cancelled and alternatives are not available.
There is a government-enforced quarantine upon your return from one of our destinations.

Terms and Conditions:

Proof will be required before confirming eligibility to this clause.
Cash refund will be minus any fees that may be incurred for international remittance if requested.
Credit Note allows you to rebook the same villa during the same rate period (season) within twelve (12) months of your original arrival date. You may confirm your travel dates at a later point in time, as long as the stay is completed within twelve (12) months of the original check-in date.
The minimum length of stay shall also follow the period of the new dates;
Policy for new bookings apply for selected managed villas;
Extension of credit note validity may be requested subject to approval
