Activities and Attractions on Koh Samui
There is a whole host of activities and attractions to see and enjoy in Koh Samui, take some time out from the beach, explore the natural beauty of the island, sail across the twinkling blue ocean, indulge in some relaxation time or discover a plethora of fun across the island.
Take a trip on a beautiful sailing boat or an exciting speedboat ride to discover other neighbouring islands. Go snorkelling and discover the aquatic life or kayak.

The Angthong National Marine Park has over 40 islands spread over 97 square miles in the Gulf of Thailand, it’s a must do and can be easily reached by speedboat in 30 minutes each way. A snorkeling trip to Koh Tao would be 1 hour each way buy speed boat.

Watersports & Sea Tours
Many of the islands popular beaches have watersports centres with activities such as jet skiing, kiteboarding and windsurfing and the even more adventurous flyboarding!
Koh Samui Tour operators will inform you of the various watersports and sea tours available around the island.
You can hire kayaks and paddleboards from many of the beaches, and some of our villas already have kayaks and paddleboards for guest use.
If you are up for an adventure, why not try exploring the island - it offers excitement for all ages. Stop off at a secluded beach cove, giggle at Hin Ta and Hin Yai and see which explorer can find Uncle Nim’s magic garden. You can discover and climb wondrous waterfalls such as Na Muang and Hin Lat. The thrill seekers could try a ziplining tour through the treetops, exhilarating fun with amazing views over the island.
If you would like to see some cultural attractions there are many to choose from. Working temples are an experience to observe and those of special interest will include the 12 metre seated Golden Buddha statue in the north east and the Guanyin, a towering white 18-arm statue of the Goddess of Mercy and Compassion situated in the south. When you visit a temple, please dress politely in shirts or scarves that cover the shoulders and long shorts, trousers or skirts.

There are plenty of group-based and family-based activities that will amuse all ages from football to mini golf to indoor cinema and bowling.
The Central Festival Shopping Mall is also for everyone and has lots more than shopping. Koh Samui has two waterparks at the time of writing. Many of our villas come with amenities that will let you enjoy activities as a family, from indoor cinemas to tennis courts, to fully equipped games rooms with pool tables, paddleboards, kayaks, basketball courts and even a Muay Thai boxing ring.
