Baan Tao Talay is one of the six villas of the luxurious Dhevatara Cove Estate hidden in a quiet bay of Lipa Noi near Nathon and is a private beachfront residence surrounded by tropical flowers, lush greenery and the white sands of a secluded beach where crystal water awaits.
Designed with Thailand’s Ayutthaya palaces in mind, the villa features airy, high-vaulted ceilings, large windows and sliding glass doors - all of which allows guests the opportunity to welcome peaceful island views as the villa blurs the line between indoor and outdoor living.
Meaning “House of the Sea Turtle”, guests can begin to explore this luxury villa by first moving across a beautiful water feature that leads to the expansive dining area and the adjacent light-filled kitchen. The dining area features a stunning table for twelve made of teak with decorative coconut and bamboo inlays.
Surrounding this dining area, guests can choose from one of five ensuite bedrooms over two floors. Each spacious bedroom comes with king-size four-poster beds and has been exquisitely decorated with beautiful dark wood furnishings. All of the ensuite bathrooms are luxuriously finished with glass, wood and marble. Further blurring the lines of outdoor/indoor living, the master bedroom has an outdoor shower - perfect for enjoying tropical breezes and starry nights.
Moving through these first pavilions and past a second water feature, guests can enjoy poolside living at the 18.5-metre infinity pool which features waterfalls, a seated jacuzzi and numerous sunbeds.
Besides the pool, guests can tuck themselves away into the living room sala, with its comfortable sitting and entertainment areas, where the floor-to-ceiling glass doors can be fully opened to the pool or closed when the outdoors is better kept outside.
Down by the sea, a beach and a pool sala make for fabulous shaded relaxation with traditional Thai beds and dining areas perfect for cocktails, lazy lunches or seaside dinners.
Families or a group of friends will love this luxe villa for tropical escapes in absolute comfort and style. As all villas at Dhevatara Cove are of immense proportions, similar in style and positioned next to each other along a private beachfront, they can be rented together, making it the perfect retreat whether you’re looking for a small family affair or weddings, corporate getaways, wellness retreats and events.
The villa is located within sight of the Raja Ferry where locals commute from the island to the mainland. The ferry pier can also be a decent reminder that when you live in these peaceful surroundings, others are travelling in the busy parallel universe.

Our stay at Villa Baan Tao Talay on Koh Samui was simply dreamy. The villa is beautifully situated, peaceful, with a breathtaking view – a place where you can immediately unwind and enjoy yourself.
A very special thank you goes to the manager, Kate: She literally anticipated our every need. Always present, incredibly warm, professional, and attentive – we couldn't have asked for better service.
The food was amazing! Every dish was fresh, lovingly prepared, and absolutely delicious. For us, it was definitely a culinary highlight of our stay.
All in all, it was a perfect vacation that left nothing to be desired. We would come back anytime and can wholeheartedly recommend Villa Baan Tao Talay.

We spent eight days at Baan Tao Talay on Koh Samui and can describe this stay as excellent overall. The house is beautifully designed, right by the sea, in a quiet location and exudes a very pleasant, authentic atmosphere. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands. We were particularly impressed by the food – every meal was fresh, varied and tasted excellent. The rooms also deserve high praise: They are very spacious, clean and offer plenty of room to relax. The house manager Kate was consistently very friendly and helpful, which further enhanced the stay. You can tell that great importance is placed on hospitality here. All in all, it was a very relaxing and enjoyable holiday, and we would definitely recommend Baan Tao Talay – especially for guests who appreciate peace and quiet, good food and spacious accommodations."

My Wife Rebecca and I celebrated our Wedding Anniversary in style staying at this luxury Villa.
We entertained our friends by day in the pool and enjoyed dinners together at night.
The staff were wonderful, amazing in fact and the location is on one of the best beaches in Koh Samui. I know that to be true because we stayed in numerous beachside villas on the island over the course of eight weeks.
I can 100 percent recommend this villa and its staff and will definitely be revisiting again in the future.
Looking forward to the long walks on the white sandy beaches amongst the palm trees again soon. !

A Dream Wedding and unforgettable stay

We celebrated our wedding at this stunning villa, and it exceeded every expectation. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The atmosphere was very warm and they tried to accommodate every personal request. While there were a few minor issues with the bathroom fixtures, the team responded quickly, ensuring that nothing disrupted our experience. The food was absolutely outstanding. We always over-ordered, but it was so hard to resist! The villa itself was the perfect setting for our intimate wedding. The beach and the rest of the property is very clean and private. There are countless cozy spots throughout the grounds where you can relax. One of the highlights was a massage by the ocean with the sound of waves in your ears. The owners were refreshingly easygoing when it came to organizing the wedding. We were a very small group. Despite of that other accomodations already see dollar signs when "wedding" is mentioned. Their relaxed and honest approach made planning effortless and allowed us to simply enjoy the day. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat or a magical place for a special occasion. I truly hope to return one day.

Dream structure, relaxation and peace are a must. Cleanliness and freshness everywhere, pool to say the least immense but the special mention goes to the beach front which is dreamy. Thank you Tom and Kate for taking care of us from start to finish and to all the staff of the villa always ready for our every need at any time. Unfortunately the location is not the best in terms of distance but with public transport you can be everywhere in 30 minutes. Only note, implement the machines in the gym, for the rest everything is extremely perfect. When we return to Koh Samui this villa will be our home again. Thank you

We were really satisfied with everything! Every little detail about customer satisfaction was thought of which made the holiday perfect. The staff were great - very professional but also welcoming. Every wish was fulfilled. The food was really very good too - better than in some Thai restaurants. The location of the villa is a bit away from all the hustle and bustle but perfect for people looking for peace and above all, privacy. I would say all in all perfect!

This beachfront villa is exceptional! This villa offers world-class facilities, everything you can think of! Its gorgeous infinity pool and amazing jacuzzi with splendid sea view are just some of them! The villa also has a fitness center and sauna, which I believe makes it unique from other villas I’ve been to. The staff was very attentive and friendly. They helped me in arranging everything I needed during my stay. Moreover, the chef was so skilled & accommodating, I had a number of food allergies and he still managed to cook up such a great meal!. The location was also perfect as it is just 5 minutes away from the airport and Chaweng that has a lot of bars and restaurants. I really enjoyed my stay here and I hope to go back here again soon!

I have been there with my girlfriend for 6 days, and it was one of the best experiences in my „travel-life“ so far. Tom, aswell as Khun Amp the villa manager and her stuff have done an amazing job. The villa has a modern standard and is superclean! The pool is stunning with the waterfall and the jacuzzi, they serve you all day and the service was second to none! The food is delicious, the view is perfect, the rooms are 5star level, the beach infront of the villa is clean and the sea is clear. There is one little thing wich could be mentioned as a tiny small minus, and that would be the ferry pier nearby, although it didnt bother us at all, the place is just amazing, and we will be back for sure! I can recommend this place to anyone, its absolutely worth the price!

We had the most fabulous 10 day holiday in the exquisite Baan Tao Talay. We couldn’t fault it in any way. The house manager Khun Joy was pure joy and her attention to detail was excellent. The decor is fabulous too with personal touches. We loved the candlelit pathways down to the dining pagoda. At the bottom of the lawn is the beach! We’re hoping to be back next year.
Lipa Noi is considered a peaceful area due to it's distance from the main Koh Samui ring road and offers a beautiful long sandy beach, stunning scenery and amazing sunsets. Some of our finest luxury beachfront villas can be found on the 2 beaches that make up the coastline. The working town of Nathon is just 7 minutes drive with the usual amenities of banks, pharmacies, convenience stores and tourist shopping.
