Ban Laem Set is located close to the southern Hua Thanon village overlooking Koh Taen and Koh Madsum. The stylish private luxury beachfront villa offers 4 bedrooms and will seduce you instantly.
Designed with exuding a light and airy atmosphere throughout, this tropical and colonial style inspired property consists of three beautiful pavilions arranged in a C-shape housing the main living area with stunning Art Deco design elements and generous en-suite guest rooms surrounding a central infinity pool.
The property entrance greets you with its beautiful water hyacinth feature, leading up into an open –plan living space decked in chic furnishings, flanked by a vast dining room and an integral courtyard. You will be spoiled by the stunning ocean view – every single aspect of the villa takes advantage of its absolute beachfront location.
Right by the beach it is the perfect location to enjoy a relaxing massage in the private beach sala or just relax on the comfortable sunlounges lined up around the pool.
Maybe try a delicious fresh tropical fruit platter prepared by our attentive villa staff while reading your favourite book. The comfortable shade under the umbrellas combined with the airy sea breeze invite for delicious sundowners or a BBQ party.
Located next to the pool deck is the main living and entertainment lounge with huge a flat screen TV, comfortable sitting lounge to watch a movie or to entertain the party with board games.
The lounge offers floor to ceiling wooden sliding glass doors that can be opened to better enjoy the tropical balmy breezes or to engage with friends by the pool.
When entering the villa, guests walk past a magnificent water feature giving an instant feeling of serenity before arriving in the generous and tastefully decorated dining room. Art deco flooring and beautiful Asian furniture have been selected with exceptional taste.
The dining room, which overviews the entire garden and pool, has a large adjacent kitchen for efficient and seamless service.
The large pool deck stretches towards the absolute beachfront and the 12 x 6.5 M pool is protected by the U shape of the lounge and the bedrooms on both sides.
There are lush gardens all around the property which finally reach the beach front. The state-of-the-art infinity pool has many comfortable sunbeds and loungers spread around for perfect relaxation and sun bathing.
Surrounding the dining area, Ban Laem Set offers 3 vast ensuite bedrooms on an easy access ground level. The homely bedrooms charm with king-size four-poster beds and exquisite tasteful furniture.
The ensuite bathrooms inspire harmony through their indoor-outdoor living and display excellent workmanship through noble materials such as marble, glass and precious woods.
Laem Set and the south is the predestined island getaway. It has beautiful palm tree fringed beaches and, whilst this part of the island is quieter than the north, it still offers all the infrastructure that is needed for a perfect family vacation.
Lamai town (15 min) is within easy reach and there are plenty of restaurant choices in Lamai and close surroundings, be it in the chic 5* Resorts like Conrad, Intercontinental. The famous Kamalaya, Wellness Sanctuary and Holistic Spa is just around the corner

Our stay at Ban Laem Set was absolutely unforgettable! The villa is beautifully designed, blending traditional Asian charm with modern beach house style. From the moment we arrived, the welcoming and attentive staff made us feel completely at ease. Mornings were a treat with delicious breakfasts and stunning sea views, and the villa’s peaceful, private setting made it the perfect escape. Tom, our concierge, took care of everything, from luxury transfers to organizing memorable excursions around Samui. The private chef service was a highlight—fresh, flavorful dishes prepared right in the villa’s kitchen, far better than any restaurant we tried. We also enjoyed soothing in-villa massages that left us feeling completely relaxed. We can’t wait to return to this slice of paradise!

The staff were so lovely – friendly, helpful, and just made everything easy. We had a BBQ dinneron the terrace and it was amazing! So many great options, all cooked for us while we chilled by the pool.
The beach is right there too, great for walks with a stunning view of the southern islands – such a peaceful spot. Honestly just a really great place to unwind. Would go back in a heartbeat.

We booked Ban Laem Set for a short vacation and when we arrived, we were simply blown away by the place. The villa has been completely renovated and looks stunning and stylish. A wonderful twist of traditional Asian and modern beach house style. Well-appointed and tastefully decorated. We felt amazing from the moment we arrived as we were welcomed by the sweetest staff who looked after all our needs throughout the stay. We enjoyed freshly prepared breakfast with unobstructed sea views every morning and were impressed by the calm and the privacy of this villa, we felt like in a bubble. Tom, our private concierge also arranged our pickups in a luxury car and booked some nice excursions to Samui’s highlights and “must see attractions”. And one of our last night’s we booked the private Chef service to dine at the villa. Wow, we should have done this right from the beginning and more often as the taste of the dishes was so fresh and authentic, actually way better than any of the many restaurants we tried before. We highly recommend the Chef service; it is unbeatable value for money as the chef went shopping at the market and prepared everything at the villa’s kitchen. To round it up we also booked some treatments from the villa’s spa menu and enjoyed the relaxing massages at the villa by very skilled therapists – heaven! We have booked again for October and can’t wait to be back.

When you arrive at the villa you'll be greeted by the lovely staff and you realize the pictures do not do this beautiful villa justice. It is pure luxury. Amazing ensuite rooms, a fantastic location. The living areas are outstanding all of which surround a stunning pool that overlooks the beach. Breakfast is made each morning by the villa staff and the property is kept immaculately clean at all times. A huge menu is available for you to select from the chef or chose to eat out. We have been spoiled and would recommend this lovely place to anyone.

Located on the south coast Laem sett is off the beaten track being some distance from the main Koh Samui ring road accessed only by small roads and tracks.
The beach at Laem Set for much of the year is a large expanse of sand which stretches out 200m and there are times when it is not possible to swim in the sea as it is too shallow.
Whilst very relaxing with no shopping or nighlife nearby, the town of Lamai with shops bars and restaurants and a beautuful beach is just 20 minutes away.
