Ban Sairee is a stunning villa and is a slice of paradise for families set in large lawn gardens in a beach-front position and located on more or less your own private cove as part of the quiet Laem Sor beach on the south coast of Koh Samui.
Accommodating up to 16 guests, the property is a perfect blend of traditional Thai and contemporary luxury. All villas are are constructed of panelled teak with elegantly gabled and tapered roofs, reflecting the beauty and perfect proportions of traditional Thai dwellings. Each of the rooms offers uninterrupted views of the beach, ocean and nearby islands.
There is a choice of indoor and outdoor living and dining areas as well as salas in which to relax out of the mid-day sun or for pre-dinner drinks. Wifi is accessible throughout the property while two television rooms and iPod dock sound systems are found in each of the living areas.
Ban Sairee comprises of 2 main villa pavilions in teak wood each consisting of a living area and the 2 double en-suite bedrooms separated by wooden decking. In addition there is a children's room also with an bathroom with shower available and is accessed by a sliding door from the master bedroom.
A converted 180 year old rice barn is located at the rear of the main villa and is dedicated to children of all ages and sleeps 4 in bunk beds with safety rails and has it's own bathroom with shower and is also perfect for nannies and helpers. With its own TV, music, Wii station, DVD player, books and toys, the rice barn is a haven for any child. In addition this amazing villa provides child's life jackets for kayaking, turtle wristbands with alarms, children's tennis rackets,, pool and beach toys and even mermaid and pirates dress ups!
In its own enclave, adjacent to yet private from the main beach house, is a larger converted rice barn, again with its own lounge and en-suite and outdoor shower and is perfect for couples or parents looking for that extra privacy.
The living areas in each pavilion feature spacious open-plan living rooms feature comfortable seating with a large dining table and a fully equipped kitchen occupies one corner of the room.
Adjacent to the living rooms are adjoining TV rooms, with deep daybeds and LCD TV/DVD. Foldaway glass doors open out on to the deck to the front and rear, integrating indoor and outdoor living space, and allowing the balmy sea breezes to flow through.
A second dining set on the deck provides an enticing venue for al-fresco meals and teak wood, cushioned sun-loungers complete the deck furnishing, leaving ample space for enjoying the fenced verandah, which is ideal for children to play on.
Each of the bedrooms have air-conditioning, excellent quality matresses and beautifully appointed en-suites with baths and outdoor showers. There are also bi-fold doors and antique ceiling fans if you prefer to awaken to sea breezes and views.
All four pavilions have direct access to the secluded beach that lies beyond the expansive palm-shaded lawns. Between the villa and the beach, is the large swimming pool, with an overflowing infinity-edge that blends into the sea view. The pool has a shallow area for kiddie to play safely and is surrounded by a stone patio on 3 sides, with cushioned sun-loungers and parasols. A full-size fenced tennis court is located behind the villa, along with the staff house.
