Samui Holiday Villas Long Description
Element of 8 is a contemporary sea view pool villa with six ensuite king bedrooms, set in a spectacular hillside position at Cape Laem Sor on Koh Samui's unspoilt south-west coast. Breathtaking views of emerald seas and golden sunsets define this fully staffed retreat, designed as an elegant beach house with wide terraces and white louvered doors that open to the sea breeze. It is perfectly suited to large family groups and to wedding and event planners seeking somewhere extraordinary.
The entry level holds a spacious open-plan living and dining area alongside one of the two master bedrooms, with bleached white vaulted ceilings, overhead fans and full-length glass doors framing the view. The living room is furnished with comfortable sofas in soft neutral tones, cream terrazzo floors and a 72-inch satellite TV with surround sound, while a show kitchen with a dark wood island counter sits beside a formal dining table for 12. A separate professional kitchen serves the villa chef, and Southeast Asian antiques and art are displayed throughout.
The six king bedrooms each enjoy their own character. Master Bedroom 1 crowns the top floor with a vaulted ceiling and wraparound sea views, a study and dressing room and a bathroom with standalone bathtub. Master Bedroom 2 opens onto a private corner terrace with a freestanding bathtub. Guest Bedrooms 1 and 2 sit off the lower terrace, Guest Bedroom 3 occupies a private sea-facing corner, and a separate Studio Apartment in its own pavilion offers a king bed and ensuite with bathtub.
Outdoors, a 14-metre saltwater lap pool is surrounded by a grassed sun terrace with sunbeds and umbrellas, and a thatched Balinese-style sala for shaded lunches or a massage. A private barbecue area with cushioned seating makes an atmospheric spot for dinner beneath the stars, and a well-equipped gym sits on the lowest level.
This quiet south-west corner of Samui is one of the island's loveliest and least developed, looking out over the palm-fringed bay of Laem Sor and the little islands of Koh Tan and Koh Mad Sum. The area is dotted with rustic beachside bistros and a handful of five-star resorts, and is famous for its blazing orange sunsets. Days here can be spent island-hopping by boat, snorkelling just offshore, or venturing out to a jungle cooking school, the championship Santiburi golf course, the Samui Elephant Sanctuary or the Magic Alambic rum distillery nearby. This was the most beautiful stay all six of us have ever had. The chef was incredible—delicious traditional Thai food, insanely good ribs, and massaman. Owen, the villa manager, was so attentive, looked after us, and made sure we had everything we needed. The staff kept the villa so clean and were very responsive and caring. The garden and salt pool were so magical. Truly the best experience at a luxury villa ever!
Villa Elements of 8 not only met our expectations but exceeded them entirely.

We had a wonderful and relaxing time with the best view of Samui. The service and food were impeccable. Especially the carbonara, Greek salad, and barbecue pork ribs—they were delicious! We will surely miss the villa and consider it a vacation we would repeat. Thank you, Elementary, for the incredible experience! The water sports were also very wonderful. The paddleboard and kayak were all very enjoyable. A great way to relax and do a little bit of exercising!

To wake up every morning to the most amazing view was pure bliss. The staff were so friendly, and their attention to detail made our stay so enjoyable. The food was wonderful, and the children loved playing ping-pong and having lessons from Owen.
Cancellation of a Booking
In the event that the Guest cancels a confirmed booking, the following cancellation fees will generally apply:
- 20% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made more than 60 days before the start of the rental period.
- 50% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made between 30 and 60 days before the start of the rental period.
- 100% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made between 1 and 29 days before the start of the rental period.
- For no-show: 100% of the total rental amount will be forfeited.
Amendments to a Booking
The villa management will do its best to accommodate any reasonable amendments, but the Guest should be aware that some changes may not be possible. Charges may also apply. Note: A shortening of stay for any reason is considered a cancellation.
Laem Sor is in the deep south and part of the area of Bang Kao with Laem Set to the east and a headland to the west beyond which is the fishing village of Thong Krut.
The area is home to the golden pagoda built many years ago and is perched right on the waters edge on Laem Sor beach with a 'meditation' forest with seats and tables nearby should you wish to remain and enjoy the stunning views of the neighbouring islands - or even have a picnic.
The unspoiled quiet sandy beach is bordered by an increasing number of luxury villas with 5 star services and offering the same scenic ocean views. A few rustic beach bars can be found along the beach.
