Villa Tao, named after the nearby island of Koh Tao famous for its diving and snorkelling, is a luxurious 3-bedroom, en-suite villa that sleeps six.

Located in the hills above Chaweng Noi on the east coast of Samui the early dawn is nothing less than spec.

The true beauty of the villa and the vista only becomes apparent as you enter the villa on to the substantial pool terrace.

Bedecked with sun-loungers, an outdoor table and chairs and potted plants and trees your first thought will be to jump straight into the infinity pool. And why not? It’s the perfect place to spend the day, cooling off, perhaps swimming a little and enjoying an ice-cold drink as you take in the fabulous views.

Indoors there is a large air-conditioned, open-plan living room, dining room, downstairs bathroom and modern kitchen. And no matter where you sit inside, the picture perfect view of the ocean is always there as the villa has floor-to-ceiling glass doors.

The sofas face a wall-mounted TV that streams Netflix and has an integrated sound system, there’s an ample sized dining table for six and a fully-fitted western-style kitchen. It has a cooking hob, an oven, a coffee machine, dishwasher, a large fridge-freezer and all the cutlery, crockery and utensils you could ever need.

And a continental or Chinese breakfast is served every day by the in-house team in your villa. We can also arrange for a private chef to come to your villa and prepare locally sourced produce from the markets for you to enjoy in the comfort of your villa.

Villa Tao has also been thoughtfully and beautifully decorated with Thai arts and crafts and stunning old photographs from around Thailand.

The first master bedroom is above the lounge and like all three bedrooms it faces the ocean. Bedroom two is adjacent to the pool and bedroom three is just below the second bedroom. They are all exceptionally spacious with double beds in bedrooms one and two and twin-beds in the third bedroom.

All of the bedrooms are air-conditioned with ceiling fans, have sofas, a work desk for a laptop, plenty of storage space, a safe for your valuables and a private balcony to relax in the shade. The open-plan en-suite bathrooms have a double sink, a powerful rain shower, toilet and further storage space and bedroom one also has a deep bathtub for soaking in or if you have young children, it can quickly become an indoor pool!

Your villa manager can arrange car-hire, trips and tours around the island and to neighbouring islands, recommend places of interest to visit and can book a spa therapist to come to your villa and give you a relaxing massage on your balcony.

There’s also a villa manager on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and your villa has a maid service every day.

Chaweng Noi is nestled in the hills between the two main towns of Chaweng and Lamai and both are only a ten minute drive away. Chaweng has hundreds of restaurants, bars, cafes and shops, a large shopping mall and a 5km stretch of beach that you can see from your villa. And Lamai also has an almost equal amount of amenities and surrounding beaches.

From your villa you can see downtown Chaweng, the expanse of Chaweng Lake, the small, off-shore island of Koh Som and all the way to Koh Pha Ngan where the famous Full Moon Parties take place.

Green hills and coconut groves surround the villa but it’s almost impossible to stop gazing at the deep-blue ocean waves and wonder what it would take to have this view every day.
