Ban Haad Sai (translated to "The House on the Beach") is a fabulous 7 bedroom villa situated on the white sands of a palm fringed beach offering great year round swimming, jogging or just for a stroll along giving insight of 'life on the beach'
Located in a bustling village in the popular north east of the Koh Samui, Baan Haad Sai is close to all amenities and within walking distance to numerous restaurants and sports bars.
The 12 metre beachfront swimming pool is surrounded by decking and grass lawns ideal for entertaining including family celebrations and weddings hosting up to 100 persons.
The accommodation is spread over 7 pavilions in a large 1600sqm plot walled in for privacy with large wooden gates at the entrance providing an exclusive and private retreat offering relaxation and comfort in beautiful surroundings.
The outside areas are furnished with sun loungers, parasols as well as patio furniture for al fresco dining. A hammock hangs between 2 palms considered the best hammock location on the island!
In the evenings the gardens and tropical plants are illuminated by ambient lighting complimenting the sounds heard from the outside speakers from the integrated ipod music system inside.
The main lounge opens up across a decking providing spectacular sea views over Big Buddha bay to the famous Big Buddha temple and the island of Koh Phangan whilst seated comfortably on sumptuous sofas. At the rear of this room is an entertainment AV room with an audio system providing music piped throughout the beachfront living areas.
There is a fully equipped kitchen together with a Thai style kitchen where the villa staff will prepare meals unobtrusively as and when required. The dining room has a table seating 14 persons and also has a lounge area with sofas and plasma TV/DVD. Sliding doors open out from this room on to the decking furnished with patio furniture also seating 14 persons for al fresco dining
There are 2 master bedrooms close to the beach both with indoor/outdoor bathrooms together with sea views and 4 of the remaining bedrooms also have en suites.
At the entrance to the property a covered car park has space for 3 vehicles, the staff house and an elevated gym that looks over the front areas towards the sea. The fully equipped gym has world-class 'Life Fitness' equipment.
Adjacent to the gym is the 7th bedroom and bathroom which is right at the entrance to the villa and also closest to the road - but it is an expat village rather than a tourist village and nothing stays open late.
There is a lot of boating activity to enjoy with piers to the east of the villa offering tours and ferries to the neighbouring islands usually departing at 8.30 and returning late afternoon.
Neighbouring the villa is a small chill out bungalow resort called The Secret Garden which has been popular for around 15 years with a nice ambience and delicious Thai and international food. Late on a Sunday afternoon features some live misic from both resident and viciting musicians.
The three resident staff including a qualified Thai chef area available to prepare your favourite meals, candlelit beach dinner or a fun BBQ.
The villa is ideal for reunions, meeting up with extended family, groups of friends and of course birthday, anniversary and wedding celebrations.
Baan Haad Sai is centrally located within a few minutes drive to 'Fisherman's Village" at Bophut with it's fine ocean side dining, sports bars, chillout coffee bars and some iunique shopping. It is 10 minuted drive to the livelier town and nightlife of Chaweng.

Ban Haad Sai can host up to 60 guests in a buffet style event. No event fee for up to 20 guests. 21 -60 guests - US£1,200 paid with balance of villa booking
Event fee is for 24 hours and there may be additional fees for subsequest parties. A refundable fee of $3,500 will be required to cover any potential damage - payable on site.
