Villa Maphraaw sits in an exclusive hillside village in the north west of Koh Samui, offering five ensuite bedrooms and unforgettable sea views towards the neighbouring island of Koh Phangan. The Santi Thani development is known locally as the Beverly Hills of Samui and is home to some of the island's finest villas. The palm fringed beach at Ban Tai is a couple of minutes away by car, and the Santiburi international golf course around ten minutes.
The villa offers complete privacy while still being minutes from a good selection of restaurants, supermarkets and amenities.
Accommodation is arranged over three levels. A vaulted ceiling entrance on the upper floor leads into an open plan living area with a balcony overlooking the pool. To one side sits a separate media room with a large smart TV and surround sound, and to the other a fully equipped kitchen with black granite countertops leading through to a dining area looking out over the pool and the ocean beyond.
Steps lead down to the pool level, where three bedrooms are found including the master. All are generously sized with ensuite bathrooms, and the two principal rooms have French doors opening directly onto the pool deck. The third sits to the rear of this level with a queen bed. A second set of stairs leads down to two further ensuite bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with twin singles, both with sliding doors onto the terrace.
The U shaped house is built partly around a 9 by 4 metre kidney shaped infinity edged pool of 32 square metres, 1.7 metres at its deepest point. Please note that supervision of children around the pool is necessary due to the infinity edge design. A submerged tiled seat within the pool incorporates a Jacuzzi, a lovely place to sit and take in the sea views. The pool deck has a dining area and sun beds, with an outdoor Bose sound system running around the pool and Jacuzzi.
Below the pool, a further large terrace lets you walk around the water feature that flows gently from the pool above, another peaceful place to sunbathe with access to the fully landscaped garden.
Villa Maphraaw is a romantic and relaxing retreat, ideal for up to five couples or two families with plenty of space for everyone, and just as well suited to a secluded getaway or an unforgettable honeymoon.
A multilingual guest manager speaking English, French and Chinese looks after guests throughout, and complimentary airport transfers are included one way each. Twice weekly maid service keeps the villa immaculate, with bed linen changed twice weekly and pool towels as needed. Fibre optic wifi runs throughout, and two baby cots and highchairs are provided at no charge.
The guest manager can also arrange a private chef, in villa massage, babysitting, boat charters and island tours, and offers discounted rates on tours, activities and services during your stay. A hire car can be arranged with full insurance and delivered to the villa, and taxis are readily available.

The villa is beautiful and as described. Includes transfer from and return. Brody the property manager was always on hand to resolve any issues we had.
The cleaner was very good including cleaning the bbq for us before we used it.

Underful villa on a beautiful hill close to beaches, Fishemans village and restaurant areas. It was easy to order taxi and food delivery when needed. / grandfather with two young families with in total 4 grandchildren from 1 to five years from Sweden.

The property manager Brody was an exceptional host who understood the dynamics of his guests and he gave some incredible suggestions for food, drinks etc

We had a great time with the family (8 + 1 23 month old baby) at Villa Maphraaw. Very nice house, all bedrooms equipped with bathrooms, amazing views. Kun was very professional, friendly and responsive. Lek prepared great breakfasts. Both are very welcoming and attentive. The house requires car or scooter as a short walk from the beach and shops. But what a calm and what a view from the pool overflow! In short, perfect stay, I highly recommend Villa Maphraaw and its hosts.

We just spent a couple days at Villa Maphraaw, and it was fantastic! The villa itself is gorgeous—spacious, modern, and with breathtaking views of the ocean. We loved relaxing by the private pool, which was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring.
The location was great; it’s a 15 min drive from the main tourist spots, which we appreciated for the peace and quiet, but still close enough to drive to beautiful beaches and local restaurants. We tried a few places nearby that our host suggested, and they were all delicious!
The Wi-Fi was excellent, which made it easy for us to share our adventures with friends and keep up with work emails when needed. The staff were friendly and responsive, which made our stay even better. A special thanks to Jeremy and Lek (her villa cooking was amazing)
Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend Villa Maphraaw for anyone looking to relax in Koh Samui. We hope to return soon

The Villa is stunning! The views are exquisite and the service is unmatched! From the moment I booked the villa, I was in constant communication with Villa Manager, Jeremy, who helped with securing airport transportation and more. The in-house services are a great touch. We opted to have a meal prepared at the villa, have groceries waiting when we arrived, and have massages by the pool. Our in-house liaison, Kevin, went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and luxurious as possible. We can’t wait to come back!
CANCELLATIONS TO RESERVATION (Other booking terms and conditions on request)
If it becomes necessary to cancel all r part of a booking,the “villa” must be notified in writing (email acceptable). The cancellation will take effect from the day the written confirmation is received.
The following cancellation charges will be payable depending on when the notification of cancellation is received in writing.
More than 30 days before arrival: The deposit will be forfeited and all other payments will not be refunded, but kept as a credit for 1 year from the date of cancellation as confirmed by the ”villa”. The credit amount can be used by the client or anyone on their behalf for any reservation during any period and solely for the villa reserved.
Less than 30 days before arrival date: All rental payments are forfeited.
In case the deposit was paid and the balance will not be paid, allpayments are forfeited with immediate effect and no notification will be issued.
If the dates of the booking need to be changed or amended, this may be treated as a cancellation of the original booking and cancellation charges may apply.
Any change to the original reservation is subject to the approval of the “villa”
